Subject:Add FX to Individual Frequencies

I'm working with a stereo drum track and I want to add different reverbs to the various frequencies within the audio.

Once isolated, I think I will have to render/export each frequency to its own track and then apply reverb to each new track right?

Is there a plugin that will isolate the frequencies for me or can someone suggest an easy way to do it manually?

Not 100% sure, groovewerx, but I think the Spectron plugin from Izotope will do this. You might try the demo and see.

How about sending your track to several separate busses, and having each bus contain Parametric EQ (or another EQ or ResFilter) set to band-pass at different freq's, and then follow each instance of the EQ in the bus chain with reverb?

Not exactly "easy", but would likely work to accomplish your goal.
