Subject:One-Shots won't play on my laptop

Got a Dell Inspiron laptop with the defualt Crystal WDM Audio card installed. running Acid 4.0e everything works fine but it will not play one-shots at all. Any ideas? Is this an unsupported card?

Also... when I'm previewing wavs it seems to skip over a lot of them (ie: won't play any sound) as if it's a bad file, but when I load it in as a track it's fine. Are there any particular formats that ACID won't preview (eg: mono, 22,000hz ?)

Those default cards aren't all that hot, and their drivers show it. Have you tried updating the drivers for the audio via Dell's Web site, if possible?
