Subject:Isolating signal in record mode

I'm at a loss here.......I've always been able to record a new track while listening to the other tracks..........and recording only the new signal. All of a sudden, all the tracks record to the new track. I know it's probably just a simple setting adjustment--but I can't seem to figure out what that is. Can somebody please help......without being condescending? Thanx.

Never mind................Sound card record input selection...................DUH.........oh wait-that was condescending................ (:>\)
