hi all I just installed the trial of Sound Forge 6 - got one niggling problem with it - it's very 'quiet'. When I play WAV files through Media Player I have the volume on it cranked right up so that everything sounds really clear. When I play files in Sound Forge, the volume is much lower and it's pain switching between the two. Is there a way to increase the SF volume or am I going to just lower the Media Player volume while I'm working between the two? hope someone can help cheers daz |

On the MENU BAR go to PROCESS and then go to VOLUME at the bottom. |

Uh, fosko, I don't think djdust wants to actually alter the volume of the song itself, just the volume at which it's being listened to. I also notice a difference between the volume of Sound Forge and the volume when listening to the preview in EZCD Creator. I'm not sure, because I think it depends on what type of sound card you have, and how you have it configured. I assume you have Sound Forge configured to take advantage of your sound card. The other program might either be manually or automatically configured to go through the default Windows route, which may or may not be your sound card. By looking at how the different volumes are set in Control Panel/Sounds and Multimedia (at least that's what it's called in W2K), you might be able to balance everything out better. Hope this helps. sk |
