I had to move my copy of Acid Pro to my new computer....went to website and re-registered and received new serial number and registry file. I installed new registry file and tried to enter serial number....however keep getting invalid serial number. Have verified I entered the number correctly. Is there something I'm missing? I did notice when you open acid (in this case in demo) the "register" acid under help is grayed out.....

You shouldn't be getting a new serial number. One serial number is issued to you when you purchase your original license and that's the only one you'll ever have. Enter that serial number at the beginning of the registration process and you'll get a new activation code. If you use the .reg file you get after registering then all should be set and you shouldn't be in demo mode any more. If you're using the new code that is sent to you, enter that as the activation code, not as a serial number.

To add to Kelly, I just reinstalled all my SoFo apps onto a new computer and all I did was enter the original serial # when prompted to do so. If you're connected to the internet and register online, you don't even have to do the activation manually.

unfortunately ACID don't work like Vegas...the registration number is generated from the computer ID....

The activation number is generated based on the computer ID. The serial number isn't.

I've reinstalled ACID several times and always used the same serial number, then registered online without having to enter anything else.
