ok, heres the situation... i do a lot of remixing and i feel like a complete jack as* for even asking this question, BUT....how in gods name do i use reason with acid??? i know thats a broad question, but i use acid for 95% of my remixes, but i recently invested in the new reason...what i am trying to do, is just use reason as like a "beat box" and or synth plug-in for reason. CAN THIS BE DONE??? whenever i insert a midi track into acid and record from the reason synth (which, by the way, as im recording...it plays the synth sound i want it to play) but, when i play back the track i just recorded...its just a piano sound!?!?!? HUH??? i feel like a dummy. i know these 2 work together, especially now that acid supports "rewire" (which is another whole issue in itself) but, any ideas??? i hope i explained what im trying to do...any takers??? please oh please help!!! :-( -marc |

If you're using Reason like any other soft synth, it sounds like the MIDI track itself isn't routed to Reason properly? Be sure by checking the specific MIDI track's output selector button. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
