Keeping markers in-synch with events

Is there any way to synch the markers with events?

Here's an example of what I've experienced. I'll put several events on one tract. Then I'll put markers to my timelines, but then realize I want to add an event or extra space(i.e. time) at the beginning of the timeline. So I select the first event, and select events till end. When I slide the events to the right, my markers don't slide with them, so I have to manually move them to align with the movie.

Am I missing something here? Is there a way to synch the markers with a tract or multiple tracts so when you move something, the markers move also?

If you put a marker at the ten minute mark it stays at ten minutes. However if you wish, they can be easily slid back and forth, renamed, deleted, etc.. The markers belong to the timeline, NOT events on the timeline. Once you get use to it, it is more logical approach, after all you should be making reference to the WHOLE timeline of a project, not limited to some specific event.

Yes, if you use the ripple mode to insert something in the timeline (select All Tracks, Markers, and regions from the pull down menu), then the markers will move with the events.
