Apply FX to multiple clips

Is there a way to apply Event FX to multiple clips or to copy Event FX from one Event to a selected group of clips on the timeline. I know you can do 'copy & paste event attributes', but I need to copy Event FX only and not Pan/Crop and Properties. The reason is my playback rate differs between clips and I don't want to copy this portion which appears in Properties. Please let me know.

I was just searching for an answer to this very question. I know it can be done with a script, but I could swear I did it two months ago without a script. I'll let you know if I remember how I did it ...

Ah, here it is, direct from SOFO, no less:

"event #1>copy

event #2>paste event attributes "

Here's the link to their answer:

Copy attributes

If you don't want to copy the pan/crop attributes, you can create a "dummy" event, copy the attributes, then select pan/crop. After that, right-click in the pan/crop window and reset the attributes. You can then copy from this even and only the FX will be copied.

You can apply an FX or Transition to multiple events by selecting them all first, and using Drag-and-drop from the Effects or Transitions windows.
