Hi,

I'm interested in setting up an external monitor using the Firewire option. Does anybody know of a small, inexpensive DV converter to output the video to the external monitor?

If you want really cheap, watch ebay and get a DV camera that is broken, like "powers up but won't load a tape" or something like that. I saw a Sony TVR350 go for US$60 the other day. I bid on it but missed it.
