Hey I'm a little new here. And I have a keyboard that lets me hook it up to the computer. And I was wondering if there was a way that I can use the sounds and stuff I have on my keyboard to work on Acid Pro?

Greetings,

The short answer is 'yes'.

The long answer depends on what hardware (and software) you have. However, the principles are the same whatever you have.

Connect the audio out of your keyboard (probably 1/4" mono jacks) to the line in of your soundcard (probably 1/8" stereo jack) and open the control panel of your computer to access the audio or volume controls. Make sure that the line in fader on your volume control is not set to zero so that any signals received by the soundcard's line in port will register in Acid.

The exact position of the fader will depend on your keyboard's output levels and your soundcard's gain structure (neither of which I can tell you) so you'll probably have to experiment a bit to get the levels just right.
