Acid Tools in Vegas

Why not put Sound Forge's Acid Loop tools in Vegas? Many of us loopers are moving into video and would like to carry over as much from audio as possible. I've become accustomed to halving, doubling, rotating and stepping selections and would like the same ease in Vegas that's so handy in Sound Forge. The Acid Tools would be a great addition to Vegas's Media Trimmer.

How about....

MAKING VEGAS AND ACID ONE FU&*ING APPLICATION !!!

Or....
you can continue shaking the customer up and down holding his feet looking for loose change to fall.

(Why won't that horse drink damnit?)

Yeah, I could also use the MIDI features of ACID inside vegas.
It's about time to implement midi recording, so I can automate
my Mixing Consoles, and perform Scoring from within Vegas.
I would like to retire my Cakewalk 9.0 machine but I cannot until
Vegas implements Broadcast Wave, Midi Recording.
Looping is also a bonus......

Vegas Video should be seen as an Upgrade to ACID.....
ACID should replace Vegas Audio, for the low end.
Vegas Files should be compatible with old version of Vegas,
and as well as ACID. Just open them up and everything is
Kosher and in the Right place.

I don't want to have to buy another applet to convert old vegas
files to the new version, and acid files, and Cakewalk files,
and pro tools files.....incorporate it into the new program!!

They could be combined into one program, as you said......
Also the new version of ACID should import broadcast wave files.

Okay.... I see we've been at this for a while now. I myself spoke with SF several years ago and told them, "Yeah, I love Acid! How about a version with video too?" The response was "can't say much right now, but it's coming soon".

Hello Mike? We're still only halfway there!
