Project statistics request

SonyDennis wrote on 7/29/2003, 2:03 PM
Hello. We'd like to gather some statistics regarding average and maximum video track counts. Don't worry, we're not thinking about limiting your track count; we'd just like to have some statistics for a feature we're working on. If you have the time, could you please take a look at some of your typical projects and post the average and maximum video track count. Also, how much RAM is in your editing computer? This data will help us optimize this feature for real-world projects.

Many thanks.

P.S. I'll be posting this in various forums; if you respond here, please don't duplicate your answer elsewhere, because it will skew the statistics.

Average, probably 3 or 4 video tracks
Maximum, hmmm, i know i've used over 30 at once, but that was for some pretty bizarre experiments. I'd say a much more typical maximum for me is 8 to 10.
Memory: 256MB
