hi guys, I'm a newb and I have a little problem right now, I have Acid Pro 4, when I go and try to add a full mp3 song to the project the song does not show up on the beat thingy. how do you get it so you can listen to it while adding other songs as well? in other words the name of the song is on the left hand, but the beats and music isn't in the right hand

You have to paint the song onto the timeline. Click the mouse at the beginning of the track (assuming you want the song to start at the beginning), hold the button down, and drag to the right until the entire song is shown, or at least as much of the song as you want to use.

To add to what Chienworks said, you can paint an MP3 in its entirety by using the Paint Tool and while holding CTRL down on your keyboard, click where you want the MP3 to begin on the timeline.
