apple soundtrack = acid 2.0 for the mac -ACID Product Family

Subject:apple soundtrack = acid 2.0 for the mac Posted by: coolout Date:7/27/2003 2:50:13 PM apple is now selling this as standalone. thoughts anyone? it's just acid 2.0 with an aqua interface and the effects from logic. about 3 years too late for me...this probably would have kept me from jumping off the apple ship. i would have bought a g4 instead of p4. but for all of apple's well designed GUI, soundtrack still has no chopper, midi or vsti support, or rewire. in addition, for a acid 2.0 clone with a new paint job, soundtrack's system requirments seem very steep. why couldn't it run on a g3?
