I was wondering if anyone knew if there was anything out there that you could hook up a mic to and connect it to a computer and record vocals onto Acid 4.0? I found something that lets you record vocals onto recording software, its called US-122 Audio/midi interface, but you can't record from that onto Acid, it's not compatible. If anyone knows, then that would be a big help. Thanks Shannon |

Why wouldn't the US-122 from Tascam work? According to their Web site: "Includes ASIO, WDM, GSIF and Apple Core Audio (OS X) drivers" ACID 4.0 supports both the ASIO and WDM driver models, so there shouldn't be a problem. HTH, Iacobus |

I use the m-audio usb preamp. it plugs right into your usb port. easy. sounds great. However you have to be updated to acid 4.0e. you can download the patch from sonic foundry. Go to the downloads section. anyway you have to have the update or acid will crash after about five minutes of recording. |
