If I forget, my tracks -- by default -- end up in MY DOCUMENTS, and it's hell to move them 'cuz ACID can never find them again. I know how to create a new destination folder BEFORE I record. My question is: Is there any way to set a new destination folder for all new projects AS A DEFAULT, so I don't have to keep doing it each time? |

You could create a "template" project with the desired destination folder, save that project, and then make sure that the option, "Automatically open last project on startup," is checked under Options>Preferences. You, of course, have to make sure you close your ACID session with this project open in order for it to work. Otherwise, you can just start with that template and it should keep the desired folder ready. HTH, Iacobus |
