I've got Acid 4.0 pro (original version, haven't upgraded to 4.0e i think is the latest one). Here's my problem: I've got plenty computer power. I'm running a 3.06GHz pentium, gig of ram, 60GB HD, that should be plenty. When I record into Acid, after a few times, it will just crash. I have to CTRL ALT DEL the program, close it, then open it again, only to wait another couple recording takes, and viola, another crash. Has anybody experienced this, or am I alone? I love the product, and I'm going to try the update patches tonite (hopefully that will work). Any ideas, suggestions, help would be appreciated. Off the topic: Does anyone know if Sonic Foundry will be making a version of ACID that 1.) will be able to work with outboard controllers, and 2.) will be cross-platform with protools? Thanks! |

Update to 4.0e. There are far too many issue that have been resolved since the intial release. Peter |
