Subject:MIDI Timecode Sync with Virtual MIDI Router

I am having big problems getting ACID 4e to trigger to MIDI Timecode using SF Virtual MIDI Router (I'm using Vegas 4c as the Master). Everything works great when I send the MIDI out my hardware port and loop it back to my hardware input, but when I try to do the same with the Virtual MIDI Router, ACID never sees the Timecode (according to it's display). A couple of times it seemed to work, but ACID crashed most every other time. I know the Virtual MIDI router works because I tested it by sending notes though it. It's only this combination of MIDI Timecode and ACID. Does anybody have this problem or any suggestions???

I've never really had any problems myself triggering ACID via MTC from Vegas, but then again I never put it through its paces.

Things to check are to use the right version of the Virtual MIDI Router and ensure that the VMR is selected as the type of input device for triggering via the Sync tab under Options>Preferences. (Also be sure the right frame rate is selected.)

Thanks for the tips, but I've checked all that and still no go...
I'm not trying to do anything major. Just wanted to use ACID's MIDI/VSTi capability to add some tracks to my VEGAS project.
I guess I can make do with an external wire, but...
