Acid 3/Reason 2 MIDI not stopping -ACID Product Family

I have each on a separate PC and have Reason chasing MIDI Clock generated from Acid. This works great except Reason does not stop when I press stop in Acid, which is a pain because I have to take Reason off line and manually stop it. If I am recording in Acid and I stop, then Reason stops. Any ideas why this may be happening? I just came from summer NAMM and spoke w/ some folks at m-audio but they believe (and I do too) that the problem is with Acid not generating the stop command except when recording. skagoogee
