Subject:Help ! installing SF6 is messing up my sonar program!!

i have sonar 2.2 XL but want to load up Sound Forge to use some of the plugins. I downloaded the demo - and now when i try to play files in Sonar - i get tons of errors!

when i uninstall sound forge - everything is fine again.

what's up? does sound forge and sonar NOT work together?

please help!!

It's a known problem that the newer versions of the Sound Forge plugins do not work with Sonar 2.2XL.
I've been told that Cakewalk will have a fix for it in the next Sonar upgrade.
You can use the Sound Forge plugins from the "audio/effects/processing" menu. You can't insert them into a track.
The problem with this is that you can't use the Sound Forge effects in real-time, and you can't audition the effect.
Post a message on the Cakewalk forum. Perhaps the more of us that bug them, the faster they'll get this fixed.
