Subject:Editing acid properties Posted by: elemmons Date:7/14/2003 3:40:57 AM I'm calling up an acid loop into Sound Forge 6.0d. The acid properties show it as a LOOP with 32 beats. I want to shift the loop so that it starts on beat 1 instead of the current beat 3 of a bar. When I make the editing changes, adding 2 beats time to the beginning and subtracting 2 beats time from the end, and save the file with the LOOP and 32 beat properties set, the file ends up showing it has 8 beats when I call it back up into Sound Forge. While I'm editing the file, the acid LOOP properties show the 32 beats after my edits. But when I save the file, it changes to 8 beats. What am I doing wrong? Thanks all. Eric EricLemmons@yahoo.com

If you record a file, then edit the acid properties, then save the file with the "save as" command the acid properties revert to the default. You lose any changes you made in the acid properties. The work around is simple. "save as" the file before editing the acid properties. After the file has been saved this way the acid property edits will not be changed.
