Subject:Midi Volume

I am using acid 4. Whenever I record midi and for example use two channels and assign them different sounds ie a violin on channel 1 and piano on channel 2. I record my first midi track using the violin and record my second track using the piano. Whenever i adjust any of my volumes for the tracks I can see both volumes for the piano and the violin moving on my midi plugin? Any ideas?
