Subject:compressed wma files

When I record audio files and save in wma format, the resulting sound is distorted and tinny from the compression. How can I avoid this? Anyone have any tips. I am using Windows Encoder 7 to stream and it automatically saves the file in wma.

I would guess that you're using a bitrate that is too low. Try using a higher rate.
