Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get my track to sound like I'm pressing stop on a turntable, so it winds down nice and slow. I know theres a plug in on Macs, not sure how to get around it in Acid.
Many thanks.....peace

The only thing I can think of is to render out and use something like Sound Forge's pitch bend effect to get what you desire. (Other digital audio editors should have this effect as well.)

Greetings munkeyboy,

I'm not trying to be rude or funny here, but have you considered recording a turntable stopping?

Having just re-read your post, I think I might have got hold of the wrong end of the stick. If you just want the sound as an effect then see above. If, however, you want to slow down your own track then I would suggest inserting a number of project tempo changes (just like sampling, the more changes you insert the smoother the transition) until you get down to 0. Probably a bit of a pain to do but it should work.
