Subject:5.1 surround audio device settings Posted by: Newman Date:7/13/2003 12:15:35 PM Specs: 5.1 soundblaster digital/Creative inspire 5700's (external decoder) /Vegas 4 When panning around the 5.1 diagram. There is no centre speaker volume. And the rear left and right are outputting the weak audio signal from the front channels. Even after outputting to ac3 (not only preview). I am using a Digital DIN cable. Which allows multiple channels at a time to be processed. In preferences. Audio Devices it displays. - Sound Mapper - and the three items beneath are deactivated. (unlike help diagram where they are activated) -Windows Classic Wave Driver set as soundblaster live audio as recording default. - The 3 options underneath are also deactivated. ------------------------------- I have a feeling it is down The Driver audio device settings.
