Let's say within Acid Pro you have a track that is playing out at 120 (bpm). (When you click on track properties and you have the track set to beatmapped and the stretched tab shows the original bpm at 120). Is there a way of increasing the bpm over the course of time. Let's say over the next two minutes you want to gradually change the bpm (whichever way) either to 118 or 122. Usually what I do is split the track and then change the split track but I can hear a change in the sound (pitch I guess changes - yes I have that box checked about preserving the pitch when stretched). It would seem logical that you could set some sort of paramater to do this. I've been told by a friend that I should set some tempo markers but I can't figure out how to do this. I have Acid Pro version 3.0 and have read the manual regarding using tempo markers. |

I've figured out how to use the tempo markers but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm looking to change the tempo gradually over time and not suddenly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Unfortunately, you cannot change the tempo incrementally other than what you've described. Would be nice though. I'm thinking maybe if you used the Loop Region to define an in and out point for tempo and have ACID calculate the tempo in between? Be sure to fill out the product suggestion form. HTH, Iacobus |
