Subject:Opened/Pasted tracks not showing up at all....

I am having a lot of trouble with ACID.

I am trying to import a guitar track I recorded on Sound Forge into ACID so I can listen to it while laying down some vocals at the same time (so making a seperate track of vocals that match right up with the guitar), only I've run into a problem.

When ever I try to open the track into Acid, it doesn't show up. There is a track that shows up with the same filename as the guitar track I want to open, but the sound isn't there. I can try to play, but its like its empty. It doesn't even work if I am listening to it and trying to record at the same time (like I want to be doing).

Is there something really obvious here that I am missing? Any help all you people out there can give me is GREATLY appreciated...

You need to PAINT your guitar track in.
Place your cursor in the track that was created(not the header...the actual track). Hold down your left mouse button and drag towards the right. You'll see your guitar track show up.

The first thing you should do however, is read the manual that came with your purchased copy of Acid. That helps alot!

The way I paint tracks in quickly is to turn snapping on, select the paint tool, hold down Ctrl and click at the start of the track. That paints it in flush left in the track.
