Subject:How to Fix Distortation on Soundtrack

Is there any way to fix Sound distortation(Band at Wedding was too loud) and my camera for some reason recorded alot of distortation and a kind of tareing noise in the background whenever the band got particulary loud.
Any help or input on this matter would be of great help

There's no real way of getting rid of distortion on a track once its recorded, you can mess around with filters, EQ etc. but youll never really eliminate it. Its possible sometimes to reduce the noise but it will also take out everything on the same freqency .............. ultimately it depends how bad it is and how good you want it to become....
