I was having some problems with Stuttering playbacks and thought , if i could consolidate my FX useage by using assignable FX, (I mean that's what they are there for), wouldnt that be nice?. I am using 4.0E, and Have never used Assignable FX, the Help file seems to indicate i can pick and choose which Tracks use the Assignable FX by routing them thru the FX bus. I add an Assignable FX to my Project, FX1, I go to the first track Volume Slider ,left click, choose FX1, and all my tracks get FX1 assigned not just the one i am trying to assign (first track in the Project). Is this by design or is this a Bug? Windows XP Audigy Platinum Dual Processor(AMD MP 1600) 1.5 Gig of Ram Three hard drives (7200 Ultra DMA 100's) thanks in advance |

The fact that all of the multi-purpose sliders change when you change one is totally by design, so you can compare apples to apples without having to manually change the view of the fader for every single track. You'll note that once you create an assignable FX, it can be accessed by the multi-purpose slider on any audio track, and that they're set to -inf by default. Cheers, Joel |
