Make sure your plugs are stereo plugs, not mono. I know, it's incredibly basic, but... I had that problem before and it ended up the salesguy sold me a mono extension for my speakers when he thought they were stereo. M |

I have an SBLive at home with the same problem. Through testing I have determined that it has to be a flaw/problem with the card itself. It recorded stereo originally, but now I cannot record stereo through any hardware input, including the analog connection to my CD-ROM. I talked to Creative when I first noticed the problem, they could not help. At this point I think the card is sitting on top of a monitor in my music room, waiting for a friend with no soundcard who has a need for playback, but not recording. HTH, Nate |
