Knowing which soundcard you're using would help.

Also, which version of the soundcard drivers are you using?

Do you have terminal services disabled, by any chance?

You should update to 4.0d
and ditch the Sound Blister

I think Ron was asking you to update due to the crash report.
Can you please give some system spec?
What version of SB drivers?
Has Acid ever work?
What sample rate are you using?
What is in the song you are trying to play?

In addition to what everybody's said:

Uninstall ACID and uninstall using just the update; it can act as a full version. (Keep your serial key handy to unlock the full version).

Is this Windows XP that you're using? You stated "Windows 2003," which I have never heard of. If this is XP, "Terminal Services" should be enabled as per this KB article.

What Ron was referring to as far as ditching your Sound Blaster goes is simply that; try another audio interface if possible. I'd recommend a pro-level interface such as those from Echo or M-Audio.

Anything running in the background that doesn't need to be running while ACID does? Turn it off or exit the program before running ACID. Better yet, go through your software and decide what you no longer need or want and uninstall. The less you have installed, the better off you'll be.

Why are you using Windows 2003?

You might be having problems because terminal services isn't installed. You may want to try installing that.
