delay when using midi keyboard -ACID Product Family

Subject:delay when using midi keyboard Posted by: yayo Date:7/5/2003 3:54:36 AM im trying to use my controller keyboard w/ acid but with every synth (including the DLS synth) there is a delay that makes it impossible to play/record at all comfortably. i can use the keyboard well with other apps, so my conclusion is that it's an acid problem, im using a SB live soundcard it must be fixable since the keyboard works fine with other apps, what do i need to do?

Unless one of the other folks can explain to you how to make latency adjustments on your SB Live card, I suggest you replace it with an ASIO capable audio card. I saw alot user threads praising the M-Audio 24/96 so I bought one for my son's rig. So far so good without noticible latency for $79USD.
