Funny thing happened on the way back to 4.0b. I upgraded from B to C toD, decided i didnt like the bugs still in Version d and re-installed back to version b. in all songs created in the B version and earlier, everything works properly. However, in a song i did in version D, the Master volume, When using either sound Mapper or Classic Wave driver does not show a master volume or at least there are no meters moving. Also, the looped area does not loop. I am using an audigy 2 platinum (what was i thinking, oh give me a TerraTec or what ever that better card is called!!!). All other made in preious versions songs loop properly in the loop marker region and i have master volume control in each. it seems like there was a setting that didnt get written and ACID seems to think the song still has settings from when it was a longer song.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!!
TIA

It does sound like that particular project had been corrupted somehow. (It can happen. An electrical spike could cause it, for example.)

As always, I suggest making backups of existing projects so you don't have to go through this problem.

Have you tried opening another ACID window and copying and pasting the tracks from the project? You'd have to re-add FX and busses and any associated envelopes (volume and pan envelopes should be copied along with the tracks) but could do the trick if you're desperate.

hey Thanks for your reply, I will have to remake it I guess. I have other projects that dont have master volumes when using Microsoft sound Mapper, (At Least one other) so maybe it just didnt understand 4.0d markings when i went back to 4.0b. winder what the chances of Version E doing any fixing? Who knows.
