Subject:I can't use my ** ACID! Posted by: DjXSoundz Date:**7/2/2003 7:12:51 PM My computer is pretty screwed up. I'll admit it. But, other apps work ok on it. Acid 4 Pro (first build) i installed AFTER RESTORING MY COMPUTER and it WONT WORK!!! COME ON! It gets illegal errors, cant find dll's that were suposed to be installed with acid ( i ran the installation and unstillation countless times). Acid 4.0d wont goddamn work for audio recording (only midi) and when i email sofo what do they say - "oh. we discovered theres some problems with 4.0c/d you should go get b" YEAH GREAT!! ONLY YOU HAVENT POSTED THAT ON YOUR SITE!! B isn't available! I dont know the question i'm asking for sure. the illegal error i get now when it tries to start acid is "error in rundll32.dll" so, if anybody's had that problem. ACID Music 2.0 is running solidly right now but i dont have acces to my effects like in pro and im pissed of at some other lacking features!

I'm downloading this now, to put alongside my full 4.0c and full 4.0d downloads. I'm starting to figure it out that it's a good idea to keep full backups of every release of software you purchase. I've lost wonderful plugins I loved to use because the updated plugins ceased to work and the older versions were overwritten and no longer available. Live and learn.
