Subject:Is there away to insert an envelope to control the master levels??

I answered a post that asked if it was possible to filter the entire song for just a part of the song. I answered that although it is possible to insert the resonant filter into the master track, there is no way to automate it because there is no way to draw an envelope that controls anything master related. My solution was to render the part of the song that he wanted filtered to a new track and then use the filter as you would on any other track. I believe that I'm correct on the envelope for the master, but I'm double checking here. If I am right, I think that would be a great addition to a future Acid 4.0 revision, because although I never thought about it, that would be a great function to have. If I'm wrong about there not being envelope control for the master, how do you do it??? By the way, the original post that I replied to is below. Anyone??

Well, you could open up the bus tracks view (U on your keyboard), insert the resonant filter plug-in as part of the Master FX and automate that way. Is that what you wanted?
