Why is it when I record vocals from my mic, I am only getting output from one speaker? I can only hear the person's voice on my left speaker.. but the other music in the backround of my project is in stereo. I am not recording in mono. Someone please help me! Thanks |

How are you connecting your mic? Are you plugging it directly into the sound card or going through an external mixer? What kind of sound card do you have? What connections on the card are you plugged in to? |

I have a Tascam US-122: USB Audio Interface. I am putting my mic in the (L) MIC IN |

The (L) MIC IN is probably LEFT MIC IN. Whatever is recorded on that input will probably end up in the left channel only. Since your microphone is mono, you'll probabably want to record in mono so that it ends up in both channels in the mix. |
