I notice Latency showing up, my live one shot tracks are now a tad late. I blew away XPhome reformat start over same problem. Major pain. I can render each track as a wave and pull it all into Acid 3 and it works fine. Only happens in Acid 4. I think it may be the 4d update. I thought it was windows update I updated everything Dx9 Mplayer9 all sec patches etc. I updated My SB Audigy Plat ex as well. I have about 10 songs I am working on and I sure don't want to fall back to 3 on them all. hmmm let me try to fall back to a lower version (c) of Acid 4 and see if that fixes it...Thanks...Skip |

i have the same issue. this latest update has really screwed me up. its almost impossible to adjust latency by hand and the auto just isnt working right. all my newly recorded tracks get offset and i spend more time adjusting than recording. i went from working on music everyday to not at all. a creative buzzkill. and i cant find my damn 4.0c disc! |

I have the same problem (using Acid 4.0d). An example: If I record a guitar lick to a simple drumloop, the guitar is delayed when I play it pack. The delay is clearly visible on the track waveforms, where it can be measured to appr 0.4 s using the cursors. I was on the edge of starting a major "WinXP" investigation, but since Acid 3 and Sonar 2 works flawlessly, I came here and found this posting... |

This is a known problem with 4.0c/d. We are aware if it and have a fix. The next update for ACID will have this corrected. There is no set release date for the next update, but it will be soon. Peter |
