Subject:plug-ins don't show, old ones won't leave

I'm using Pro 4.0a (build 237) so maybe the problem's already been fixed- but can't find reference here (a review in a magazine called it though!)

-Deleted Plug-ins won't leave, and new ones don't show up. I've deleted relevant section of registry many times, it all comes back

with luck, problem will be solved with update (4.0d), though i expect more problems with latency- which i thought was due to my new Tascam US-122 (my SoundBlaster live didn't do it...)

Further: I found DXuninstall (not on the French site, but a search located it in Spain!), and deleted several registry entries (not just the one indicated, that didn't work...) and seems OK...

And strangely (still using .a , download of update failed yesterday, am trying again), seemed not to have lost sync recording some audio this morning)...
