Subject:Cursor jumps to 35 sec if 4.0d update

Since 4.0D when I press the play button, the curson just to 35 secs. The sounds start at the beginning but the cursur jumps way forward. Also, audition sounds are out of sync. This only started with 4.0D. Anyone else have this issue? Got a fix? Makes Acid 4 useless.

What sound card are you using?

I am using a SB Audigy. Have not changed sound cards. Unless 4.0d does not work will with it.fs

You may be on to something. I updated the sound card drivers. Now the curson starts about 5 secs too late. It lags the music now. Very strange.

You need to get the latest driver set from Creative. There are known bugs in the Audigy drivers that cause position problems with both ASIO and WDM/Wave MME.

Which drivers are you using? ASIO or Wave Classic?

After the sound drives and the latest update from Microsoft and another reboot, it is working like it should. thanks for all your help.
