Subject:latency issue Posted by: mmzz Date:6/27/2003 10:53:06 AM or is it? several people have complained that the 4.0d "auto latency" does not work correctly but yet no responces from SF? are they ignoring the problem untill the next patch? i lost my cd and now im stuck with this "d" version. i have all together stopped creating music because of all the hassle the latency causes (its near impossible to manual adjust). i dont use loops. i record every track straight and now i spend more time shifting tracks around then i do creating. can SF please put the 4.0c version back up on the downloads page!! this sucks BIG TIME! i cant afford to go out and buy more software that works properly. im stuck. and some good ideas are gone. ~mz

We're currently pounding on a new build that has specific robust fixes to address recording-latency, the 24-bit CWD playback issue, plus a few others. As soon as it's ready, you can be sure we'll post it. In the meantime, if you contact our technical support, they'll be able to get you a copy of ACID 4.0b, if you'd prefer to use that. Joel

We have addressed this issue and it will be part of the next revision. No, I don't know when we will be releasing 4.0e, but it will be soon. Peter

Have we really not responded? If so, sorry about that...

We're currently pounding on a new build that has specific robust fixes to address recording-latency, the 24-bit CWD playback issue, plus a few others. As soon as it's ready, you can be sure we'll post it.
