I cannot capture HD video although I can capture standard video. I have tried every possible variation of the 1280x720x30 rate that should work for my JVC GR-HD1 camera. Tape moves, the screen on the camera is fine, it looks like video should be being transferred, but nothing is being captured. Can anyone help me, is anyone else using this camera with Vegas? |

You won't be able to capture with SF Capture. If KDDI came bundled with the camera (I think it does) you'll need to use that for capturing. |

The high-def data feed coming out of the camcorder's i.Link (FireWire) connector will be unrecognizable to your current video capture software. When you play standard-DV recordings on the JVC cam, that output is a standard i.Link-compatible signal. You will have to use the HD Capture utility that comes with the JVC GR-HD1 to capture the HD stream. For more information see this message thread: JVC and HD and NLE... -- Seeker -- |
