Subject:MIDI Dragging in ACID..

I have a 10 minute long song in ACID,and I've imported an existing MIDI file into the acid project, it has Drums, Bass,Keys and Strings. When all the channels kick in and are playing their respective parts, the MIDI slows down, - it Drags, it lags about a quarter second behind the ACID parts. I have run the MIDI material outside of ACID it works fine, the CPU usage is only 25%, so I dont think its a performance issue. When the MIDI load is light - very few parts playing, it seems to be OK. - any ideas?

Try updating soundcard drivers and video card drivers? System specs?

Anything else running other than ACID?

Where are you routing your MIDI track to? External? DLS synth? VSTi? (if VSTi - which one?)

Also, what sample rate is your project running at?
