I STARTED THIS HOBBY ABOUT 6 MO. AGO RIGHT KNOW I HAVE OVER 6000 FILES (MUSIC) SO A FRIEND OF MINE GAVE ME SOUND FORGE AS AGIFT SO TO BE HONEST I COULD PROBABLY SAY I UNDERSTAND ABOUT 20% OF WHAT SOUND FORGE IS SO WHAT I REALLY NEDD IS A TEACHER IF THERE IS ANYBODY OUT THERE I WOULD REALLY APREECIATE IT I ALSO HAVE THE SOUD FORGE VIDEO FACTORY 2.0 WHICH IS TOTALLY CONFUSING BUT IT LOOKS REALLY INSTRESTING AND FUN SO I ALSO HAVE ABOUT 10 OTHER SOFTWARES FOR MUSIC LIKE:
COOL EDIT PRO 2.0
BPM STUDIO 4 PRO
WINMX
WINAMP
NERO
NERO EXPRESS
CAKE WALK PYRO
COREL GRAPHICS SUITE 11
LOGIC PLATINUM 5.2.0
DIGITAL STUDIO PRO
FAST CD RIPPER
MORPHEUS
ALL THESE WHERE GIVEN TO ME
AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE THEM
HELP ME PLEASE
MAYBE I HAVE SOMETHING YOU CAN USE IN EXCHANGE FOR INFO

DAMFLO: one thing you could do for us that would really help us a lot in helping you is to tell us what you want to accomplish. We don't know what it is you want to do, so we don't know how to tell you to do it. What do you want to be able to do?

You mention that you have lots of songs. OK. Are you trying to build a library of them? Do you want to burn your own CD mixes? Do you want to convert to MP3? Do you want to record your own original music? Let us know what you want to do and we'll offer all the help we can. :)

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO WITH ALL THESE PROGRAMS I LOVE MUSIC ITS ALL FOR MY PERSONEL USE I DON'T BURN CD S BUT FOR MY SELF
I WOULD LIKE TO LEARN HOW TO CONVERT TO MP3, WAV, WMA, AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE, SEE WHAT I AM DOING NOW IS HAVING FUN WITH IT I CUT PASTE MIX ON DIFFERENT SONGS JUST YOUR BASIC I GUESS ON SOME OF MY SONGS I CANT EVEN OPEN THEM FOR SOME REASON MY BIGEST PROBLEM IS THE LANGUAGE THAT THIS SOFTWARE USES I DONT UNDERSTAND IT. LIKE I SAID I JUST STARTED THIS ABOUT 6MO AGO W/OUT KNOWING ANYTHING OF WHAT MUSIC REALLY IS. BEFORE MUSIC TO ME WAS SOMETHING I HEARD.

From your post, one might suspect that the software you were "given" are not legal copies. If that is the case, this is probably not a good place to seek help.

Goes to show show, you can find this stuff on some Warez website, and get many dollars worth of software, but it doesn't do you a damn bit of good if you have no clue of how to use it. Go to the warez pages where "your friend" got these programs for you and ask them for some training lessons. Don't come here looking for another freeby.

I've said this in the past. Just because someone gives you a paintbrush and some oil paints, doesn't mean you're Michael Angelo.

you have several subjects to take up. Music is foremost, school should be considered, the internet is a vast resource, the subjects are way beyond a mere software forum. (although this is an excellent one!) like MyST said, LOL

also, plz remove the Caps Lock key from your keyboard. it's very annoying to have to read A POST WRITTEN LIKE THIS! IT'S LIKE YOUR SHOUTING AT US AND WE'RE NOT DEAF THANK YOU!.

besides, if you don't know what you want to do with Sound Forge then you don't really need the program. finally, if your copy is LEGAL you should have a manual which explains everything.

hahaha the caps is so annoying. I might be able to help you although i do agree that it all is in the instruction manual! OH HOLD UP, YOU DONT GOT THE MANUAL DO YA. LOL Well yeha im a nice kinda guy so i might offer some help to u but it depends whether or not its worth my while because typing sucks balls. MY COPIES OF ALL SONIC FOUNDRY STUFF ARE LEGITIMATELY PURCHASED. BYE MR CAPS
