Posted by: DKardos Date:6/18/2003 12:26:21 AM Hi- I was trying to use the Acid Demo, and it wasn't working... after installation, Acid would load up, and then crash immediately upon coming onto my screen... so I decided to get the Sound Forge 6.0 demo and see if that worked, and the same thing happened. I wonder if my machine is jinxed for Sonic Foundry products or something.. except that CD Arcitecht (which I've bought) works just fine. Has anyone had this trouble and know what I can do to fix it? Neither Acid or Sound Forge will work. Thanks, D.

There is one servce that these apps need in their default config that involves dialup up the internet to check for upgrades. There are more specific directions in teh FAQs on this site, I believe. geoff
