Subject:VST effects that sync to midi?

I've been looking at the adrenalinn and Line6 Filter Pro to add fx that sync to midi. Does anyone make VST effects that I could plug in to ACID that would let me do the same thing? I've read mixed reviews about the sound quality of these two boxes but I love the idea of modulation that is totally in sync with my tunes. Thx.
