Why are the updates from one build to the other always so BIG (min 25 MB)? It is like downloading the whole application AGAIN!

That's because you are downloading the whole application again.

Ditto what wcreed said. The update can actually act either as a demo or the full version (with your serial key handy) that can be installed without any previous version of ACID installed.
