More info please.

Recording in 24-bit using WDM (or Windows Classic Wave)? Try 16-bit or use 24-bit ASIO. 24-bit WDM has become a bit of problem for some reason. Believe SoFo is aware of it.

I use 24bit asio sb audigy 800 24/96 driver right as I speak and still get the problem?
Im attempting to reinstall acid over, because when I hit record before I got the message the programm would mute the channel on my sound card mixer so I wasnt able to hear what i was playing durring recording? but id the prob persists then I know its something I got confgured wrong?...I hope that the driver is what you were refering to when you said try 24-bit ASIO? I must record in 24 bit!! thats why i upgraded my card?..I wonder if this is a problem with buil 4.0d?(wich is still a sweet update!)

If I remember correctly, didn't the Audigy (1 or 2) do 16-bit/48 kHz max with ASIO, whether it was internally or converted to 24-bit/96 kHz on the fly?

In any case, did you try picking up the latest drivers for the Audigy?

I'm not really sure if it's ACID 4.0d. Most users who are having problems with 24-bit are dealing with WDM rather than ASIO. My card's 24-bit ASIO works just fine here with 4.0d. (It's an M-Audio Audiophile 2496. I also have an M-Audio Duo; its 24-bit ASIO works fine too.)

but my card says its still running on a sb auidigy WDM?....... eep?
