Subject:Screenblast and Sonicfoundry

I have Screenblast Sound Forge. Are Screenblast and Sonicfoundry the same company, partners, or not related at all because I know Screenblast is powered by Sonicfoundry? Thanks.

Not the same company. Screenblast is a joint venture between Sonic Foundry and Sony.
That was then...this is now.
Sony has put in a bid to buy the desktop software arm of Sonic Foundry. The deal hasn't been finalized yet I don't think, but it'll happen soon.
So I guess this is one of those questions that gets a Yes and No answer.
