Setting Chapters without Audio

I would just like to know how other DVDA users are setting accurate chapters points without being able to preview audio in the Chapter creation section of DVDA. Are you previewing the Video and writing down the times or some other process. I find it much easier in DVD Workshop to be able to preview the video and be able to set chapters as I watch, especially with stuff like wedding videos where you must rely on cues from what the preacher is saying to set chapter. Just wondering?

I set my chapter points using Markers in VEGAS.

What I do is watch all the video that I'm going to edit...then memorize all the music and sounds that go with the video. That way, when I'm setting up authoring my DVD in DVDA, I just access the stored memory in my brain to tell me what audio goes with what part of the video.

It's really easy.

The tricky part is when setting up video's with almost the same name. Then I get a little confussed. Like the Smith wedding and the Smyth wedding got all FUBARED. Boy where they pissed off at me!! But screw them. They should have had a more original sounding name.....like the Clampensteinerhockers!!

I remember when grand-pa Clampensteinerhocker called me and asked me to shoot his wedding. Boy I tell you....that is something you will never forget. A 92 year old man calling you because he is getting married to an 18 year old.

Clampensteinerhocker....yeah....you can never forget that name!!
