Subject:Audio playback error

I recently upgraded from Win ME to Win XP. I use Acid 3 Pro. Did not have problem with Acid before. Am in middle of recording sessions with Acid, now when I went to playback recorded audio I get a dialog box popping up saying "unexpected error, unable to mix audio. The operation timed out." Please help me fix. Thank you.

Did you upgrade from Me straight to XP? (Your best bet would've been to install XP clean.) In any case, try uninstalling and then reinstalling ACID Pro 3.0.

I've got the same problem as this, it happens most when I solo or mute a track. No solution found yet, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

Have you made sure DMA is enabled for your hard drive? (More info can be found here.)
